Dr. Cordes is very proud to have the daily support of such a talented and experienced team who goes above and beyond for each patient in need! If you ever have a question or concern, don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can address it right away. You can also keep reading below to learn more about us:
Heather has been a vital part of Dr. Cordes’ orthodontic office for two decades so far, and she loves the changing environment of the field, from the technology to the patients! There’s always something new to learn and discover. Heather is one of 30 Certified Dental Practice Management Administrators in Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University minoring in business.
When she isn’t busy at the orthodontic office, you can usually find Heather at her 2 nd “job” – volunteer trail work for the New England National Scenic Trail as section adopter and co-chair. She really enjoys leading hikes and activities through the Berkshire Chapter of the AMC for scouts and families. She also loves playing music in the Greater Westfield Community Band and in several local ukulele groups – look out for her at open mics! Her favorite hobby of all, though, is repairing lawn mowers with her son Jacob.
Lisa attended Our Lady of the Elms College for her education, and she is also certified in CPR. Today, she has been a proud member of Dr. Cordes’ team for nearly a decade! Whether she’s in the orthodontic office or out in the local community, she loves the diverse opportunities her job brings on a daily basis.
Lisa and her husband Gregory have been married for well over 20 years – in fact, they first met while working as ski instructors on the slopes of Mt. Tom. Together, they have two terrific boys – Matthew, a sophomore at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Jack, who is a senior at St. Mary’s Parish School. Together, they love making memories at the beach in Maine and snow skiing/racing in New England. Outside of work, Lisa herself can often be found watching her sons play baseball, cooking and entertaining at home for family and friends, doing fun chores like gardening, watering, and weeding, and listening to live music. She also continues to be a professional ski instructor – her specialty is teaching very young children and moms.
Sarah’s career in the dental field spans over eight years and counting, and she really enjoys being able to work directly with people in need. She received her training at Springfield Technical Community College and is DANB certified in radiology and infection control.
Sarah and her husband have two handsome, young boys at home. In fact, here’s an interesting fact: she and her sister are actually married to brothers! When she has spare time outside of work, her biggest hobbies include gardening and practicing photography for her family and friends.
Shannon first joined our dental team nearly 15 years ago after completing her education at Springfield Technical Community College and the Porter and Chester Institute. What she enjoys most about her position at Cordes Orthodontics is getting to know each patient really well over time, as well as seeing their happy smiles when the braces finally come off!
Shannon has a great husband, three wonderful children, a dog, and a cat at home. In her spare time outside of work, you can usually find her hanging out with her family, going to the beach, and watching movies. She also loves being a Sunday school teacher on the weekends.
Basia is originally from Poland, and she attended college in Krakow. In fact, she came to America without knowing any English whatsoever – today, she speaks it fluently! She is trained as a dental technician and also has certifications in infection control, radiation, and as a dental assistant. She has been working in the oral healthcare field for nearly 15 years so far. Her favorite part of this position is being able to see the final, beautiful results of a patient’s newly straightened smile!
Basia has two grown children – a daughter named Asia and a son named Piotrek. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in a bowling league, hiking, and going on runs.
