Tip #1: Scrub Them Regularly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll be required to wear your aligners for 22 hours every day, which gives bacteria plenty of time to form a layer of plaque on the surface. This can leave your clear trays looking cloudy or yellow, which defeats the purpose of \u201cinvisible\u201d orthodontics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully, you can prevent this by taking them out twice daily to thoroughly wash them clean.
